New to the community! (and photo goodies)

Hello! I'm new to the community and thought perhaps it could use some fresh juice, especially as there seems to be a mass migration from Livejournal. (Also, feel free to friend me on Ravelry, where I use the same username.)

Here are some things I've been working on lately:

Still on the needles is a lovely Helix scarf that I'm making in lace weight baby merino yarn on #3 needles...it is slow going, but it's great TV knitting and is so lightweight and warm and lovely. Eventually I will finish.

Taos fuzzy slippers

The last project I finished was that cat bed that took me two months to make. And it was all red and brown and orange, so by the time I got done with it, I was all "OMG I NEED COLORS! And something I can finish inside of a month!" I took a shine to the Taos Felted Slipper Socks while I was looking around on Ravelry. And I had a skein or two of Taos in that brown/turquoise colorway I always like until I get it home lying around, so bonus! Then I went out to my LYS to find another color to twine with it, and I end up picking the two shades of Jaspe Wool that meant I would be knitting with all the colors in the world.

Miniature sock

I've been knitting a lot of these miniature socks - I'm turning them into keyrings, and a friend is taking them to Azkatraz in LA in July to sell there. Mostly in Hogwarts house colours, of course, including House Sparklypoo, but I've done some in plainer colours.

And then the other night I had A Nidea, and charted this up and knitted it. It's amazing what one can do with only 20 stitches total to work with!
