A bit over a week ago, I got this haul for $20 from a charity store in Sydney. That's 4.7 kg of 8ply acrylic. Exactly what I use to make toys with.
Now, given that 100g of cheap acrylic ranges from $3-$4, that's between $150 and $190 worth of yarn right there.
That's not a bargain, that's theft.
*feels simultaneously thrilled and mildly guilty*
