And the completed scarf.


I used four complete balls of Cleckheaton Vintage Hues yarn (#1268) for this project. (The Vintage Hues line is now, sadly, discontinued.) As you can see from the picture, it's as long as I am tall, and being pure wool, it's incredibly snug.
There's no pattern; I sort of made it up as I went along. I like the look of blackberry stitch, and I liked the combination of the pattern with the multicoloured yarn.
It's not a trick of the light; one half is brighter than the other. I didn't buy enough wool the first time, and so half the wool is from one dye lot and half from another. The camera flash makes it really obvious, but to the naked eye, you don't notice it unless it's pointed out.
