Gosh, that sounded rude. Not that there's anything wrong with straights, I just never seem to use them any more, even for projects knit flat. I'm just looking at the density of stitches on those needles, and thinking how they must all jump off the moment you're not paying attention.
Haha, not at all! It's quite all right. And you're right; if I'm not careful near the edges, they slide right off. I use one of those rubber stopper things to keep it on when I'm not actively working on it.
