Last week, I was trying to sort through my stash and found some nice white fingering yarn. I browsed Ravelry for a while and so, a shawl was born. I've never finished a lace pattern like this before, so I'm quite pleased with myself.

Date: 2010-02-25 05:10 pm (UTC)When I did one of these, those 5 stitch nupps drove me completely crazy, and I dropped them down to 3-stitch nupps after the first couple of rows of them. My hat's off to you for doing the 5-stitch ones!

Date: 2010-02-25 05:17 pm (UTC)They were such a bitch to purl back together. After the first row, I'd slip the first three loops onto my right needle, purl two together, move it all back to the left and finish it off.
There's 1 failed one in there somewhere, though. Drives me nuts.
