I made socks for my Dad!

Eesti Trail Hiking Socks, by Nancy Bush, pattern in Favorite Socks by Interweave Knits.
US3, Mission Falls superwash worsted in stone and spruce.
Mods: Very minimal! I didn’t do the snowflake pattern on the leg, but just the stripe pattern up top. I also did a wedge toe instead of the spiral toe, which made the sock too long. Or I made the sock too long, and it was easier to rip it back and graft it together, then do a wedge toe. One of those, you decide.
Toe and heel in contrasting color, obviously. Afterthought heel, which I love the look of, but hate the actual doing.
Anyway, very snuggly and warm sock, and now I want a pair for myself.
