Hoodie Baby Blanket

Last night, before I went to bed, I finished the last bits of weaving in and tidying up on the Hoodie Baby Blanket. Today, we took some pictures of how nice it looks before it gets sicked on by its intended recipient.

Oh, so cute! And I love the colors! My friends just had a baby, and they love the hoodie blankets. Apparently they are fabulous.

I don't like the whole pink/blue thing that seems to go on with babies. I tend to knit things for people in colours like yellow and green and white; especially if I don't know the baby's gender. In this case, I do know, but my friend is very easy going about the colours I use, and I'm sure she won't mind a green blanket.

It's very quick and easy to make, if you fancy making one yourself. It only took me five days, and the bits that were the fiddliest were the edging and attaching the hood. The rest was just lots of stockingette.
