Stripes are awesome.

A couple pictures of the striped sock yarn scarf I started last night. I'm using the 1x1 ribbing from the Noro striped scarf, but with sock yarn on size 4 needles. Up on Ravelry here.





The two colorways I'm working with, neither of which I'm particularly crazy about on their own. (The one is too bright, and the other is too dark.)



But this turns out just right! Plus, it's soooo stretchy. I'm alternating skeins every four rows, instead of two, so it's not quite so crazy with the color changes.

That's rather a nice scarf. I'll have to try that pattern sometime.
