It's easy, but I struggled a bit at times because I'm not as experienced at crochet as I am at knitting. The central panel was what gave me the most grief, mainly because of stitch count. I found it very difficult to tell when I'd miscounted, so I had to ravel back the whole thing several times, once from nearly done, because my side edges weren't straight. Also, it's repetitive, and you might get bored, so have another project on the go that you can switch to, or settle in for some good TV or audio distraction. That said, I'm very pleased with the result, the pattern wasn't complex in the slightest, and from the last complete ravel back, it only took me twelve days of hard slog to make. A quicker crocheter than me, making it in worsted yarn rather than DK would definitely whiz through it in maybe as little as a week.
